Prosper.com Currently in Quiet Period

A few days ago I blogged about Prosper.com and how you can take advantage of their social network lending system, either by getting a cheap loan or by earning a nice return on your money you borrow.  I received an update this morning from Prosper stating they have entered into a quiet period, meaning they will be accepting no new business or loans from anyone, while they file a registration process to offer Promissory Notes to lenders.  Another great feature to future users, but creates a state of waiting for those wishing to take advantage of Prosper’s offerings.
